Outbreak of E. coli Linked to Ground Beef
CDC is working with the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service and several states to investigate an E. coli O103 outbreak linked to ground beef. Six states have reported 109 illnesses. No common supplier, distributor, or brand of ground beef has been identified. The investigation is ongoing.
