Salmonella Outbreak Linked to Pre-cut Melons

CDC is working with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and several states to investigate an outbreak of 93 SalmonellaCarrau illnesses in nine states. The outbreak is linked to pre-cut melons supplied by Caito Foods, LLC. Consumers, retailers, and restaurants are advised not to eat, serve or sell recalled pre-cut melon and fruit medley products supplied by Caito. The investigation is ongoing.
