The Blue Ribbon Panel (BRP) presented its report to the National Cancer Advisory Board earlier today. The report describes 10 transformative recommendations for achieving the Cancer Moonshot's ambitious goal of making a decade’s worth of research progress in cancer prevention, diagnosis, and treatment in just 5 years.
The board accepted the report, with revisions that reflect the board’s discussion. Acting NCI Director Douglas R. Lowy, M.D., also accepted the report and will provide it to the Cancer Moonshot Task Force.
