The NCCIH website has information about many complementary and integrative health topics of interest to teens and their parents.

Teens may be interested in mind and body approaches that can help them cope with stress, such as meditationyoga, and relaxation techniques.

Older teens who are starting to take responsibility for their own health care may find our Know the Science resources helpful.

Energy drinks are popular among young people, but there are important concerns about their safety. Both teens and their parents may want to read our webpage on these products.

We also have information on dietary supplements used for weight control or bodybuilding and on the use of complementary health approaches for conditions that affect some young people, such as attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)headachesirritable bowel syndrome, and asthma.
