Please join the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Minority Health for the second in a series of webinars on the National Standards for Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services in Health and Health Care (National CLAS Standards).

The provision of services that are culturally and linguistically appropriate means care and services that are respectful of and responsive to the health beliefs, practices, preferred
languages, health literacy levels, and communication needs of all individuals. Though the National CLAS Standards provide a framework for health organizations to deliver
quality care and best serve the nation’s increasingly diverse communities, we are often asked for examples about what implementing the National CLAS Standards looks like in a
real world setting.

In this webinar, you will learn about how different organizations, including an integrated health care system, an academic medical center, and a public health department, are implementing the National CLAS Standards. Presenters will share their successes, best practices and strategies, as well as challenges, for meeting the needs of
the individuals and communities they serve, regardless of cultural background or communication needs.
