Join STAT and Jim Allison, a co-recipient of the 2018 Nobel Prize in medicine, for a special live chat about his work, the future of immunology, and cancer research. Allison, chair of immunology at MD Anderson in Houston, was recognized by this year’s Nobel committee for his discovery of how the immune system can be tweaked to unleash tumor-attacking T-cells. The live chat will be moderated by STAT senior writer Sharon Begley.
