World Cancer Day 2017: Update on recent cancer research findings

Following a successful kick-off on the 4th February 2016, World Cancer Day 2016-2018 continues this year under the hash tag #WeCanICan with the aim to encourage all of us to “do our part to reduce the global burden of cancer”. I also continue highlighting the key findings in cancer research reported over the past 12 months in an annual blog.

Paulina has a PhD in medical sciences from Medical University of Gdansk, Poland. Her research conducted at King’s College London focused on investigating potential therapeutic agents for adrenocortical carcinoma. She joined BioMed Central in 2015, and is Assistant Editor for BMC Medicine.
