PEARLS is an evidence-based program designed to reduce depressive symptoms and improve quality of life in older adults and in all-age adults with epilepsy. This 2-day, in-person training from April 13—14 in Seattle, Washington, is designed to equip all members of a PEARLS team—including both counselors and administrators—to implement the program successfully in their organization.

The SCESS is the only statewide epilepsy surveillance system based on administrative data, coordinated by the Medical University of South Carolina and state agencies, with CDC support (FY02-FY14).
