Dr Riddle is a Commander in the Medical Corps of the United States Navy, is board certified in General Public Health & Preventive Medicine, and maintains an active clinical travel medicine practice. He specializes in vaccine and drug development, acute travel health issues, chronic consequences of acute infectious disease, vaccine health economics and market assessment. He also serves as an associate editor of BMC Gastroenterology, and on the Research Review Committees for both the International Society of Travel Medicine and the American College of Gastroenterology. Dr Riddle is the co-author of over 100 peer reviewed publications and two book chapters on travelers’ diarrhea.
Dr Riddle's serves as Editor-in-Chief in a capacity outside of his duty as a US Government employee. As such the content, views and opinions represented in the journal do not reflect the official policy or position of the Department of the Navy, Department of Defense, nor the U.S. Government.
