The USPSTF Wants Your Comments on the Draft Recommendation on Behavioral Weight Loss Interventions
This week, the Task Force posted a draft recommendation statement and evidence review for public comment on behavioral weight loss interventions that prevent obesity-related morbidity and mortality in adults.
The USPSTF is recommending that clinicians offer or refer adults with a body mass index (BMI) of 30 kg/m2 or higher to intensive, multicomponent behavioral interventions.
The draft recommendation statement and evidence review are available for public comment until March 19, 2018 at 8:00 p.m. EST.
