CDC has updated the data on the Assisted Reproductive Technology website, including the interactive map of clinic success rates and summary report figures for 2014.
Based on CDC’s 2014 Fertility Clinic Success Rates Report, there were 208,604 ART cycles performed at 458 reporting clinics in the United States during 2014, resulting in 57,323 live births (deliveries of one or more living infants) and 70,354 live born infants. Although the use of ART is still relatively rare as compared to the potential demand, its use has almost doubled over the past decade. Today, approximately 1.6% of all infants born in the United States every year are conceived using ART.
