Alzheimer’s disease clinical trials and studies need a wide range of participants in order to find potential treatments and cures. An intervention may work differentlyin one gender, race, age, or health status group than in another. Without enough trial participants from diverse backgrounds, questions about a treatment may remain unanswered.
