LOOKING FORWARD TO WALKS IN THE SAND AND GRASS THIS SUMMER? BE SURE TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR FEET.
If you have diabetes, you face a higher risk of foot problems because:
Diabetes can reduce the amount of blood going to your feet. This can slow the time it takes sores to heal.
Nerve damage from diabetes can cause you to lose feeling in your feet. A blister, sore, callus, or cut could go unnoticed, leading to even worse foot problems.

So, don't go barefoot.
Check your feet every day.
