Oral health is an essential part of staying healthy, especially for people living with HIV/AIDS. Inadequate oral health care can undermine HIV treatment regimens and diminish quality of life. People who are HIV-positive need comprehensive and individualized oral health care, yet many people with HIV have unmet needs for oral health care.
Join the webinar on Thursday, March 24 at 12 PM ET to learn how the Boston Public Health Commission’s HIV Dental Ombudsperson Program is working to remove or reduce barriers to oral health services for people living with HIV/AIDS. This webinar will include information about the importance of oral health and strategies to improve oral health among people living with HIV/AIDS.
