I am delighted to announce that our new open access journal Hepatology, Medicine and Policy is now open for submissions.
Aims and Scope
Hepatology, Medicine and Policy seeks to situate biomedical advances in hepatology within the broader political and social context that determines the ultimate impact of research in both resource-rich and resource-limited settings. The journal emphasises the translation of evidence into action, in part by encouraging the authors of original research articles to present their findings in ways that are meaningful to policy-makers, advocates and community members.
Why Do We Need a New Hepatology Journal? - Blog
As we celebrated the 5th World Hepatitis Day, we reflected on the progress in combating this group of diseases. It was also an opportunity to ask what more needs to be done. Read my full blog post here as I share with you why this new journal fills an important gap in hepatology research.
Do You Have a New Study to Publish?
Hepatology, Medicine and Policy (HMAP) considers articles on the prevention and management of viral and non-viral hepatitis and other liver disorders, including articles on the public health, policy and biomedical dimensions of these conditions.
In publishing on our open access platform, authors benefit in the following ways:
-Affiliated to the World Hepatitis Alliance
-Authors retain copyright of their work
-All articles are open access: universally accessible online without charge
If you are considering submitting a manuscript please do review our submission guidelines in advance, but do not hesitate to contact us directly for any further editorial enquiries.
Kind regards,
Jeffrey V. Lazarus
