How do vascular risk factors, such as diabetes and high blood pressure, impact brain aging and the onset and progression of Alzheimer’s disease? To explore this complicated relationship, NIH is bringing together 5 research teams to form the M2OVE-AD (Molecular Mechanisms of the Vascular Etiology of Alzheimer’s Disease) Consortium.
