Value Enhanced Nutrition Assessment E-Learning Course
In honor of National Nutrition Month, CDC LC features USDA’s Value Enhanced Nutrition Assessment (VENA) e-learning course. VENA is part of the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) initiative to revitalize nutrition services – expanding the purpose of nutrition assessment to include nutrition education in addition to eligibility determination. This course, intended for WIC staff, consists of three modules: 1) Introduction to VENA, 2) Critical Thinking, and 3) A Health Outcome-Based Assessment. Take the course and learn how to encourage your clients to make healthier food choices.

You Call the Shots Module Four: Haemophilus Influenza Type B (Hib) is a web-based e-learning course that provides practice-oriented Hib immunization content in an easy to follow step-by-step manner. This and other You Call the Shots courses are great for medical and nursing students, new health care professionals or for experienced health professionals looking for a simple review of vaccine recommendations.
