There’s no sugar-coating it: All calories are not created equal

Counting calories doesn’t work. Burning more calories each day than you consume may have been the diet advice from the past, but that has since been debunked. So you no longer have to work out until you’ve “burned off” that apple cider doughnut you had with lunch. You just have to make sure you’re eating whole foods and avoiding processed carbohydrates.
