Added text to Table 8, Health Professional Practice and Genetics Education Information, to state that the Society for Gynecologic Oncology's Genetics Toolkit is a series of case studies to illustrate common questions and challenges faced by health professionals and patients with regard to the role of genetics in gynecologic cancers; this resource was developed in collaboration by the Society of Gynecologic Oncology, the National Society of Genetic Counselors, Bright Pink, and Facing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered.
This summary is written and maintained by the PDQ Cancer Genetics Editorial Board, which is editorially independent of NCI. The summary reflects an independent review of the literature and does not represent a policy statement of NCI or NIH. More information about summary policies and the role of the PDQ Editorial Boards in maintaining the PDQ summaries can be found on the About This PDQ Summary and PDQ® - NCI's Comprehensive Cancer Database pages.
