CDC’s DGHT Launches New Website
The New Face of the Division of Global HIV & TB
CDC’s Division of Global HIV & TB (DGHT) has a new look! DGHT has launched a dynamic, mobile friendly website that reflects DGHT’s recently expanded focus to include both global HIV and TB and our work in more than 50 countries. The website includes updated materials on DGHT’s focus areas, refreshed country profiles, powerful success stories and modern downloadable infographics - all crafted to show the extent of the HIV and TB epidemics and DGHT’s global impact.
Using bold graphics and images and plain language principles, the new site increases awareness of global HIV and TB, and highlights CDC’s efforts to fight both diseases. Because 65 percent of us are visual learners and visuals are processed 60,000 times faster in the brain than text, the new website moves DGHT toward a more visually appealing approach.
In addition to the aesthetic enhancements, the new website is also faster, easier to navigate, and more user-friendly. New features include:
- Improved navigation and menu functionality that directs you to the information you need
- Integrated social media buttons to foster improved communication with our audiences
- A fully responsive design that allows you to navigate on a laptop, desktop, tablet or phone
The new face of DGHT is helping to expand the reach of the work our scientists do every day - bringing the power of scientific expertise and on-the-ground experience to the fight against both global HIV and TB.
