There is an exciting opportunity at the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) in the Center for Evidence and Practice Improvement (CEPI) for a senior scientist to provide leadership in conceptualizing, planning, executing and disseminating research programs and projects in the areas of decision science, modeling and shared decision making.  CEPI (http://www.ahrq.gov/cpi/centers/cepi/index.html) generates new knowledge, synthesizes evidence, translates science on what works in health and health care delivery, and catalyzes practice improvement across health care settings.

The successful candidate will have experience in conducting research in decision science, modeling and/or shared decision making; planning, executing and disseminating research programs in decision science and shared decision making; translating evidence-based findings into tools and products that engage patients, health care professionals, policymakers, and others in clinical decision-making; and/or advancing the methods of decision science and shared decision making.
