A person with Alzheimer’s should stop driving when they can no longer think clearly or make good decisions. Caregivers can:
- Talk to the person about concerns with their driving.
- Take the person to get a driving test.
- Ask a doctor to tell the person to stop driving.
- Hide the car keys, move the car, or disconnect the battery.
