Approximately 11.6% of U.S. children use complementary and integrative health approaches. Dietary supplements, chiropractic or osteopathic manipulation, and yoga, tai chi, or qi gong are the most commonly used approaches. These are most frequently used by children for back or neck pain, head or chest cold, anxiety or stress, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Ask your questions on Facebook now! Or, participate in the Twitter Chat on March 30.

Join the Twitter chat on March 30 at 9 p.m. ET to discuss what the science says about the safety and effectiveness of these approaches for children. We’ll be joined by NCCIH expert, Wendy J. Weber, N.D., Ph.D. Follow the conversation at #kidshealthchat.
