H-IPSE internalized by just a limited range of cells

The eggs from the parasite Schistosoma mansoni secrete a number of proteins, including IPSE, to elude their host's defenses. A team of researchers from Children's National have discovered that IPSE is internalized by just a limited range of cells, including hepatocytes.
