Congratulations to the CDC Biorepository Team on Their Newly Acquired CAP Accreditation!
Recently, the CDC Biorepository (CBR) team achieved a major milestone when it received its biorepository accreditation from the College of American Pathologists (CAP). With stewardship of 6.4 million biological and environmental samples, CBR is now the largest federal biorepository accredited by CAP’s biorepository program.
Accreditation establishes a high level of competence and standardization, improves awareness and use, and expands the impact of the CBR.
