We Need Your Help Now More Than Ever

Parkinson's Awareness Month

Dear Friend,

Every year, 60,000 Americans are diagnosed with Parkinson's disease (PD). What will it take to get that number to zero?

The Michael J. Fox Foundation (MJFF) has transformed a stagnant PD research field into one that is abuzz with activity and investment toward a new generation of treatments with considerable implications for people with Parkinson's. But there is more work to be done.

We're on a mission to meet every person with Parkinson's, online or face-to-face, and introduce patients and families to the robust, nationwide PD community helping us carry new therapies over the goal line. Nearly 75,000 registrants (and counting) are joining Fox Trial Finder to increase the flow of willing volunteers into clinical trials. And, more than 200 advocates recently traveled to DC to ask lawmakers for critical Parkinson's research funding. Members of Congress are listening -- a recent spending deal included a $3 billion increase for the National Institutes of Health, the largest public funder of PD research.

Everything we do together is with one urgent goal in mind: Accelerating breakthroughs patients can feel in their everyday lives. And your continued support makes this possible.

The Entire MJFF Team
