Research by our Member Institution
Researchers at our member institution, University of São Paulo, have published research on the ‘Genetic variation in the microsomal triglyceride transfer protein (−493G/T) is associated with hepatic steatosis in patients infected with hepatitis C virus’.

Celebrated on 28 July each year, World Hepatitis Day helps to raise awareness about the different hepatitis viruses, the treatment and the prevention, in order to influence real change.
