CDC Launches Motor Vehicle Safety Website in Spanish

• Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death for U.S. teens: Six teens (ages 16 to 19) die every day from motor vehicle injuries.
• In 2015, more than 35,000 people died in crashes on U.S. roadways; that is 96 people each day.
• Motor vehicle injuries are a leading cause of death among children in the United States.
