- Partnerships for Enhanced Engagement in Research (PEER) Liberia is accepting proposals from U.S. medical schools and universities interested in working with A.M. Dogliotti College of Medicine (AMD) and the Liberia College of Physicians and Surgeons (LCPS) to build medical education capacity in Liberia. PEER/Liberia is sponsored by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by the U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine.
Application deadline: August 25, 2017 - Small Global Health Education Grants from the Consortium of Universities for Global Health (CUGH) will provide $5-10,000 to strengthen educational programs in LMICs; promote, develop and disseminate clinical and community case studies; or support other areas of interest.
Application deadline: September 1, 2017 - The Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD) will support grants for research institutions and organizations in Sub-Saharan Africa to finance high quality research for development, based on local needs within thematic priority areas.
