Use in Cancer
Ribociclib is approved to be used with an aromatase inhibitor to treat:
- Breast cancer that is hormone receptor positive (HR+) and HER2 negative(HER2-) and is advanced or has metastasized (spread to other parts of the body). It is used in postmenopausal women who have not been treated with hormone therapy.
Ribociclib is also being studied in the treatment of other types of cancer.
