Changes in the Schedule Since Last Release
Each year, the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) reviews the recommended immunization schedule to ensure that the schedule reflects current recommendations for licensed vaccines.
For 2014, several new references were added, including the adult immunization schedule for vaccination recommendations for persons aged ≥19 years. Recommendations for persons who have been vaccinated prior to the minimum age/interval between doses of vaccine in a series also were added.
