Vital Signs: Walking Among Adults — United States, 2005 and 2010

August 10, 2012 6 in 10 adults now report walking, making it the most popular form of physical activity. Adult walkers are more likely to get their recommended 2½ hours (150 minutes) per week of physical activity. State and local governments are working to create more walkable communities.
