Project Evolve: Another Opportunity To Get Involved
Several weeks ago, we asked for help in thinking through how SAMHSA's website could be better organized. Using an online exercise (called a card sort), participants organized key behavioral health topics into predefined categories. The response to our request for participation was tremendous, with more than 1,000 individuals participating over the course of 1 week.

The next step in this process is to ask for your help with a different exercise—a "reverse card sort." In this case, you will be asked to find specific pieces of information within a tree structure (think folders and subfolders in Microsoft Windows). This activity is very intuitive, so expertise in web design or technology is NOT needed. This activity should take you less than 15 minutes to complete.
This reverse card sort exercise is available online now through September 3, 2012, and your participation is completely anonymous. To start, please select the link below that best applies to you:
- General Public Reverse Card Sort (I use SAMHSA.gov primarily for personal purposes.)
- Behavioral Health Professionals Reverse Card Sort (I use SAMHSA.gov primarily for professional purposes.)
- SAMHSA Staff Reverse Card Sort (I am a SAMHSA employee or contractor supporting SAMHSA programs.)
Thanks again for your continued participation in Project Evolve. Your assistance will influence the future direction of SAMHSA's web presence. If you happen to know other people who might be interested in participating, please share this information with them.
