CAHPS Clinician & Group Survey
New Guidance on Reporting Results of the CAHPS Clinician & Group Survey
The CAHPS Clinician & Group Survey generates information that is useful to medical practices seeking to improve their patients’ experiences. The survey results can also provide patients with important information about the quality of the practices available to them.
The CAHPS User Network has released new guidance on how to report scores from the Clinician & Group Survey in ways that are easy for people to understand, interpret, and use. This guidance includes updated measure labels, a discussion of alternative approaches to scoring, and an overview of three recommended display strategies.

This guidance was produced by the American Institutes for Research (AIR) in collaboration with the CAHPS grantees for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s Aligning Forces for Quality initiative.
