WHEN
Tuesday, August 30, 2016 | 1:30 PM -- 3:00 PM ET
DESCRIPTION
The Suicide Prevention Resource Center (SPRC) is currently exploring best practices for tribal suicide surveillance through a project that identifies resources, strategies, and tools that American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) communities can use to gather monitoring and surveillance information. This information will be used to help demonstrate the success of their projects. As a part of the process, SPRC is conducting key informant interviews with suicide prevention and tribal surveillance experts from across the country. This webinar will share the preliminary findings from these interviews and start a dialogue with tribal grantees about their technical assistance needs in this area.
