There is some similarity between the features of tuberculosis and lymphoma which means malignant lymphoma can be missed and misdiagnosed as tuberculosis. This case report follows a man that was diagnosed with tuberculosis in one hospital and 5 months later was diagnosed with malignant lymphoma in another hospital.
The authors suggest that this case highlights the importance of looking at a patient’s history before making a definitive diagnosis.
