Up to $53 Million Available for the Assisted Outpatient Treatment Program for Individuals With Serious Mental Illness
This 4-year pilot program is intended to implement and evaluate new assisted outpatient treatment programs and identify evidence-based practices to reduce the incidence and duration of psychiatric hospitalization, homelessness, incarcerations, and interactions with the criminal justice system. It also seeks to improve the health and social outcomes of individuals with serious mental illness.
