Register for Public Health Emergency Medical Countermeasures Enterprise Stakeholders Workshop

Public health emergencies can result from naturally occurring and emerging infectious diseases, such as pandemic influenza, or the deliberate use or accidental release of chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear material. The Public Health Emergency Medical Countermeasures Enterprise (PHEMCE), led by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, coordinates federal efforts to medically prepare the U.S. for these threats. Next month, the PHEMCE will host a two-day, stakeholders workshop on the NIH campus in Bethesda, Md., to highlight past progress and future directions in developing, stockpiling and effectively using the drugs, vaccines and devices needed in public health emergencies.
To register for the workshop, which will be held Jan. 6-7, 2016, see: Hurry! Registration closes Dec. 11, 2015, or until the event reaches seating capacity.
