New NIAID Clinical Trial Studies Treatment Failure in People with HIV
A new NIAID clinical research study is enrolling people with HIV who have experienced treatment failure on at least one antiretroviral regimen. Factors that can contribute to this failure include drug resistance, drug toxicity, and poor treatment adherence. The study seeks to learn more about the study participants through directly observed therapy at the NIH Clinical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.
