The 10,000 Immunomes Project: Building a Resource for Human Immunology: Cell Reports
Today in Cell Reports, NIAID-supported researchers describe the development of a data resource comprising immunologic measurements from more than 10,000 healthy people. They highlight how this growing resource, called the 10,000 Immunomes Project (10KIP), can be leveraged to produce new insights, such as identifying variations in immune characteristics across age, gender and race and describing immunologic changes during pregnancy.
10KIP draws from the NIAID-funded ImmPort database and offers a wealth of immunologic data that scientists can use as a reference to explore various research questions. The data are freely available for download and interactive visualization at 10kimmunomes.org.
