Updated Meningococcal ACWY and DTaP VISs are Available

Updated Vaccine Information Statements for Meningococcal ACWY Vaccine and DTaP Vaccine have been posted on August 24, 2018. These new interim versions may be used starting immediately, although stocks of the previous editions may still be used until exhausted.

• The new MenACWY VIS removes reference to the meningococcal polysaccharide vaccine (MPSV4) which is no longer available in the United States. Otherwise, changes to this VIS are minimal.
• The new DTaP VIS reflects changes to the recommendations of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices with regard to contraindications and precautions for vaccination.
