PRC/ASTHO Virtual Videos from Ask the Experts Panels 

Find out what public health research experts from the Centers for Disease Control Prevention Research Centers (PRCs) and partners are doing to help improve health in communities across the nation. From May to June 2018, the PRCs together with the Association of State and Territorial Officials (ASTHO) hosted an Ask the Experts webinar series. See the recorded videos:

• Integrating Mental and Public Health – Panelists discussed how public health professionals can integrate mental health services in their work.
  

• Preventing Childhood Obesity – Panelists shared ways local, state, and national initiatives address childhood obesity through community and educational systems.
  

• Improving Health Disparities in Rural Communities – Panelists discussed policy, systems, and environmental change strategies for promoting public health in rural communities.
  

Each panel included research experts from two Prevention Research Centers, a health department official, and a federal employee to provide various perspectives.
