Final Update Summary: Genital Herpes Infection: Serologic Screening - US Preventive Services Task Force

The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force released today a final recommendation statement on  serologic screening for genital herpes infection. The Task Force recommends against routine  serologic screening for genital herpes infection in asymptomatic adolescents and adults, including  those who are pregnant.
