Professor Leblebicioglu is the Director of the Department of Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology at Ondokuz Mayis University Medical School in Turkey. He is a member of European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID), Study Group for Viral Hepatitis (ESGVH), and coordinator of ESCMID Study Group for Travel Medicine and Migration (ESGITM).
He has authored 124 publications in peer-reviewed international medical journals, mainly in Crimean Congo hemorrhagic fever, viral hepatitis and healthcare associated infections. He has conducted workshops and courses in the area of effective communication, presentation skills, proposal and manuscript writing.
