Immune Responses Provide Clues for HIV Vaccine Development
A new review article co-authored by NIAID Director Anthony S. Fauci, M.D., and several NIAID-funded scientists describes recent research that has yielded new information about the immune responses associated with—and potentially responsible for—protection from HIV infection. The findings provide a basis for new strategies to develop an effective preventive HIV vaccine.
