Liberia-U.S. Clinical Research Partnership Opens Trial to Test Ebola Treatments
NIAID and the Liberian government today launched a clinical trial to obtain safety and efficacy data on the investigational drug ZMapp as a treatment for Ebola virus disease. The randomized controlled trial will take place in Liberia and the United States and will enroll adults and children with known Ebola virus infection.
