Please join the Engelberg Center for Health Care Reform’s upcoming webinar, "Highlights from the Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership’s (OMOP) Annual Symposium" on Wednesday, August 8, from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM EDT.

Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership (OMOP) is a public-private partnership whose mission is to evaluate methods that can be applied to analyze existing healthcare databases with the goal of better understanding the safety and effectiveness of approved medical products.

Patrick Ryan (Director of Epidemiology Analytics at Janssen Research and Development, and Research Investigator at OMOP) will provide insights into the development of risk identification systems, methods for interpreting individual study results, and future areas of research for OMOP. Martijn Schuemie (Assistant Professor at Erasmus University Medical Center, Rotterdam, Netherlands, and Research Investigator at OMOP) will present results from an empirical approach to null hypothesis testing and describe ongoing OMOP research collaborations.
