Extended: NIMHD Bingo Challenge for National Minority Health Month!

Last month, NIMHD invited everyone to celebrate National Minority Health Month (NMHM) by sharing and completing the Active & Healthy Bingo Challenge! This challenge focused on healthy activities that individuals can complete every day in and around the home to keep our minds and bodies active, consistent with the social distancing guidelines to help slow the spread of COVID-19. Thousands of people nationwide participated in this activity to stay active and healthy in April, so we are extending it into May!
Did you know that a lot of what you do every day counts as physical activity? Gardening and cleaning the house are great ways to keep your body and mind active and healthy while you do your part to slow the spread of COVID-19. NIMHD has compiled a list of some healthy activities that you can do in your home!
Visit the NMHM page to download your bingo card in English or Spanish and mark the squares of the activities you complete. Five in a row means BINGO! Be sure to share your completed board on Facebook or Twitter with the hashtag #ActiveandHealthyBingo! Show your friends, your family, and us how you are staying active and healthy at home.
