Immunization Action Coalition of Washington Stay Safe, Stay Healthy, Stay Vaccinated! Campaign

WithinReach is working with the Washington Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Washington State Department of Health to spread the word about the importance of keeping kids up to date on their vaccines. Together, we have compiled information and resources for families that we hope you can help share with the community.

As you have probably heard, vaccination rates for Washington children have dropped in the past two months due to COVID-19. If routine vaccinations are delayed, we could be facing not only the COVID-19 pandemic, but also an outbreak of a vaccine-preventable disease, like the measles outbreak we had last year.

We created a flyer in six languages – English, Chinese, Russian, Somali, Spanish and Vietnamese – to help as many families as possible understand the importance of bringing their children into clinics for their vaccines. Additionally, the flyers highlight how providers have taken important steps to keep families safe by reducing exposure to COVID-19 in their clinics.
