DHA Clinical Communities Speaker Series (CCSS) Live and Home Study Activities Available - Register Now!

Register for the DHA CCSS Live and Home Study Activities Available for FREE CE/CMEs!

Registration is now open for the 28 May 2020 Defense Health Agency (DHA), J-7, Clinical Communities Speaker Series (CCSS), "Review of Current Trends and Best Practices in Primary Care.” The series is virtual so you can earn continuing education/continuing medical education (CE/CME) credit from anywhere!

In addition, there are two home study activities currently available, the DHA CCSS January Home Study event that is available until 9 September 2020 and the DHA CCSS March Home Study event that is available until 10 November 2020. Home study or enduring activities are web-based, pre-recorded courses offering CE/CME credit. Please review the details below regarding events that the DHA, J-7, Continuing Education Program Office (CEPO) organized.

DHA Clinical Communities Speaker Series (CCSS), 28 May 2020

The May CCSS, “Review of Current Trends and Best Practices in Primary Care,” live activity will take place from 0810-1615 (ET) on 28 May 2020. There are up to 6.0 CE/CMEs available if all courses within the series are completed. Target Audience

The activities are designed to meet the educational needs of physicians, nurses, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, physician assistants, counselors (live events only) social workers, psychologists, occupational therapists, optometrists, physical therapists, kinesiotherapists, case managers (home study events only) healthcare executives and other health care professionals. In addition, for May CCSS, CEPO’s new ADA accreditation will meet the educational needs of dentists, dental hygienists and dental technicians.

All other health care professionals completing these CE/CME activities will be issued a Certificate of Attendance indicating participation and the number of CE/CME credit hours. CE/CME credits will vary per course.

Continuing Education

The DHA, J-7, CEPO awards the credits, which are limited in scope to health care providers who actively provide care to U.S. active-duty service members, reservists, National Guardsmen, military veterans and their families.
